Although June has been fairly quiet on the contest front for us this year, apart from the RSGB Club Calls, things are still very busy. More planning has been going on for the Jura trip. We spent one evening down on the beach sorting out the guy ropes for the big masts, this is now done and everything labelled accordingly. Chris and Bex's visit was great and Chris may yet make it to Jura depending on his work commitments. Now we look forward to a very busy July with two major 24 hour contests coming up in the month. We will be back at Sunderland point at the end of the month for IOTA and at a new location, this year, for the IARU.
The main website has been going under some major changes and will be available to browse very shortly ( it will run under Wordpress for those of you with an interest) It will be easier to navigate and the content should be much more varied. Thanks to everyone that has been in touch this month expressing an interest in coming down to see us either socially or to take part in the contests!

Off to the Lake District
Chris M0DWK and Bex 2E0BEX will be in the Lake District all this week having a walking holiday and also activating some summits for SOTA, do listen out for them. They arrived up from Coventry yesterday afternoon and attended our usual club meeting in the evening, it was so nice to spend time with them again and to catch up on everything, they seem, somehow, to never have been away. Hopefully the weather will be kind to them and they will arrive back in Morecambe on Saturday.
